The Pride board instructed me there were to be no endorsements on our site since our purpose is to disseminate information. Stating what appear to be positions of the various candidates is acceptable but the property owners do not need others telling them how to vote. We have adhered to that guidance.
Yesterday our group was contacted by a Journal reporter and asked if we had endorsements for any candidates since they were going to run the endorsements of the more government group in their Friday edition.
We have submitted endorsements with the request our submission be printed in it’s entirety. If that is not the case you can count on us letting you know it was printed in an edited form, ignoring our stated request.
