Although these good Samaritans expect no recognition for their acts I think it needs to be noted. We have mentioned here before the great job our maintenance department did handling the blizzard of a couple weeks ago. Two people took the extra step to show the crew they were greatly appreciated. This mention will come as a surprise to both of them.
Tuesday with the blizzard bearing down Bonnie Marron cooked enough hearty beef stew for the maintenance department so they would have a good hot meal. The very next day Dennis Balk cooked the crew chili and corn bread for the same reason, wanting them to have a hot lunch while working through the cold and snow.
This points out some of the type people that live here at Candlewick. Concerned folks who think of others and show it through their acts. Both deserve everyone’s thanks for their thoughtfulness.
