It felt so good this morning to join the morning walkers group for the workout. I am trying to make it a habit now and especially in these raucous times it is important to simply let go occasionally. We talk, laugh hard teasing each other, and in general just enjoy the company while working off some stress. Just a fine group enjoying each other’s company.
You really should come and join us. The walking (structured workout) group meets weekdays at 9 a.m. in the gym at the rec center. Just bring a change of shoes for gym use and maybe a bottle of water. You will work up a little sweat but it is not geared to 20 year olds so don’t worry. It is just plain fun and yes, you will feel it in your legs later. The good hurt!
I’ll get back to posting the less enjoyable stuff later but remember there are still good things as well as good people in life. Let’s enjoy the short time we are each given.
