I
have been asked some questions regarding Veolia's contract ending
April 30. Even though they lost the bid they have agreed to continue
the current service for at least another month until the changeover
logistics have been completed. With three month billing this is
adventageous to them as well as giving the contract winner a little
more time to put everything in place.
Here's
the “skinny” on the changeover. Just keep doing what you have
been doing. Letters will be sent from the two companies detailing
what is involved. All the bulk pick-ups will continue as part of
the service as usual at no additional cost above the monthly fee.
New containers will be delivered and the old ones picked up.
Nothing to worry about.
