In speaking with the job Superintendent in charge of the road project yesterday I was informed the one area in which there was concern of a weak road base (below the dam) is not a problem We have a solid base and that is very important to road stability and durability. As all can see the project is in full swing now and our roads look like heck, all chewed up and ugly. Just hang in there. I told you it would be inconvenient for a while but it will be worth the mess in the long run. The crews are doing a great job.
Soon you will see the testing unit from Rockford coming by at various unscheduled times to verify we are getting the depth and quality we are paying for. Rabine is good so I have no concern but we are trying to cover all the bases.
