Happy 100th birthday, Girl Scouts! March 12th marked the official anniversary of the first meeting held in the home of Juliette Low, founder of Girl Scouting. Our local Scouts were out in force to celebrate, wearing their uniforms and flying green balloons all over Boone County. The girls from Troop 3017 celebrated the day in a special way spreading some cheer with a random act of kindness: one hundred lucky drivers found a commemorative flower placed on their windshields. Making the world a better place one kindness at a time- it's the Girl Scout Law!
