The annual meeting had to be postponed due to the lack of a quorum. We were short by 28 proxies so the meeting is re-scheduled for April 17 at 1 p.m. in the rec center. The new board was not sworn in for the same reason. The current board will still be in place at next Tuesday's meeting.
This will cost your association money again, re-mailing the proxies to those not responding. Between this, the extra cost involved in the general manager's resignation, the "Y" wanting a larger fee for managing our pool and activities, and the mailing of the incorporation question three times the amount to be credited to the following 2012-2013 dues will take a serious hit. The credit may well disappear. This year's credit is of course still on track but the next one is being slowly killed by these expenses. The board and finance commission has little control on those issues at this point and as I said, it will cost us all.
