We were informed today there are three association owned lakes and one state owned lake closed in Northern Illinois with the same problems as ours. Those are the lakes that are known at this point. More 90 degree temperatures this week are stirring already stagnant lakes into an ugly stew. Pray for a break in the weather plus rain and wind. We need something to stop this cycle.
Knowing others are closed doesn't help our situation one bit but it keeps you in the loop, you now know about as much as I do about the situation.
