Yesterday, September 25th,
we here in the Stateline enjoyed a true Indian Summer. The first part of an
Indian Summer officially occurs after the first freeze of the autumn, which
occurred Sunday morning when the temperature dropped to 31 degrees Fahrenheit
and the second part is when the daytime temperatures reach at least 80 degrees Fahrenheit,
which it did at 3:45pm yesterday. The actual temperature at that time was 81
degrees Fahrenheit. It is not often we get to enjoy such a day, so get out
there and enjoy the beautiful weather because we all know it won’t last long.
