I want to take this opportunity to thank all the attendees of Tuesday night’s board meeting. That has to have been one of the most enjoyable meetings I can remember attending. There was none of the hostility displayed that has at times become a hallmark of so many of our meetings. It was such a pleasure to see smiles and calm discussion during the open public session.
As the Pride secretary indicated in her report of the board meeting posted here, there was a resolution passed toward the end of the meeting governing expected civil conduct during our meetings and functions but if Tuesday is any indication it will never be needed. It was proven we can all work together for a better Candlewick with all our ideas brought forward. I am very encouraged and appreciative.
