Candlewick Lake Public Safety
 
WEEKLY REPORT

Week ending 7/1/2012


Rescue Calls
Public Safety responded to a report of a subject having a seizure in a vehicle at Candlewick Dr. and Kingsbury.  Public Safety remained there until the subject was transported for treatment.

Juvenile Issues
Public Safety responded to the Recreation Center for a group of unruly juveniles throwing bicycles.  Public Safety advised them to leave the Recreation Center for the day.
  
Damage to Property
Public Safety observed damage to Candlewick property specifically the outpost building.  An unknown subject burned two sections of the exterior of the building with what appeared to be a lighter.  Anyone with information regarding this is encouraged to call Deputy Chief O’Doherty at 815-765-2827 X 211
Public Safety responded to the 200 block of Briarcliff for a report of a broken car window.
Public Safety responded to the 900 block of Candlewick Dr. for a report of a broken mailbox.
Public Safety observed a stop sign that was run over by an unknown vehicle at Candlewick Dr. and Galleon Run.

Traffic Crashes
Public Safety responded to a two vehicle traffic crash in the 100 block of Pembroke.  Public Safety assisted with traffic control until BCSO arrived.

Burglary
Public Safety while on patrol observed subjects entering a vacant residence in the 100 block of Hastings Way.  Public Safety met with the subjects and discovered they were in the act of stealing a kitchen appliance.  Public Safety summoned the Sheriff’s Office and the subjects were subsequently arrested.
