We’ve all complained about our high water and sewer bills for years but we haven’t had the opportunity to make our voices heard when it really mattered. Finally, we have the chance to be heard. Whatever you do, don’t miss out on this chance to make a difference.
The Illinois Commerce Commission (ICC) will be hosting a Public Forum at the Recreation Center on Thursday, January 5th at 7 PM. This forum will be open to the public to discuss the general increase in water and sewer rates proposed by Aqua Illinois. It’s your chance to make a difference by attending and commenting about the high water and sewer bills you’ve been paying for years.
You can speak or you can submit a written comment, either way, your concerns will be given serious consideration by the ICC when it makes its decision in February about the Aqua Illinois request for a rate increase.
