  It was a cold, windy day on the lake that takes no prisoners. A few brave souls ventured into the water to prove they could withstand anything Mother Nature could throw at them. The rain and snow had stopped but the temp.

and wind were competing for first place with both holding in the mid thirties. Not a day for a quick dip.


Everyone survived the plunge. Rich Witt read the suggested cautions before it started. He also had a 

 throw ring and rope just in case. The rescue squad arrived on scene as a precaution but unfortunately it was right  after the event had ended. No harm done.

Will I join in next year? Not a chance. These people either have lost their sense of hot and cold or are just plain crazy.
