The Recreation Commission has been formed and is up and running. The Rec center will close at 8:30 P.M. week days due to cost and not much use at that time. The fitness center fees will be $23.00 for a single and $18.00 for each added adult, and $13.00 for ages 13-15 with a parent and they will also take an orientation class. They also will be open from 5-9 a.m. for adults only. The pool hours will remain the same. They also will be purchasing 2 new tread mills to replace the broken ones (which are over 7 years old) and repair a third one. This will be at a cost of $9,050.00. We also will keep the YMCA employees as Candlewick employees when we take over the rec center.
