The lawyer we hired a few months ago has the credentials we need. He is an expert in the new CICA law and document compliance issues. He handles most of our general legal issues but his expertise in the CICA area was something we new would be needed. He has proven to be well equipped for the challenges.
We hope to have the vote for the revised and restated CC&Rs completed by the first of the year. That is a tight schedule but it can be met if we get the follow through we expect from the property owners. There should be little controversy in this straight forward and ultimately fair process of voting on the extra amendments individually. Hopefully all property owners will return the ballots upon the first mailing, thus avoiding more expense to your association in the form of additional mailings. We are counting on all of you not only to vote but also to urge your friends and neighbors to do the same. You have always come through and we are sure you will again. This is being done correctly.
