Today I received the following letter in response to an Aqua complaint I made online:
“This is to acknowledge that the Consumer Services Division of the Illinois Commerce Commission (ICC) has received and recorded your comments.
Individual consumer contacts, such as yours, combine to create summary reports of the data in our Automated Complaint Tracking System. These reports allow is to identify and measure the scope of trends and problems affecting Illinois utility customers. In addition, this data is available to decision makers who determine public policy.
Thank you for taking the time to share your comments with the ICC.
Franklin Johnson, Consumer Counselor”
It’s nice to know that the individuals do make a difference, so the more CWL residents who file an Aqua complaint the better chance we may all have to sway the ICC in their decision.
To file a comment with the Illinois Commerce Commission got to www.icc.illinois.gov. Go to "File a Complaint' and follow the directions provided. The ICC case number, for Aqua complaints, is 11-0436.
