Who has been consistent?

Please think back to the beginning of the incorporation drive. The "town hall" meetings that were supposed to be presentations of facts pro and con as well as the numbers that were published by CPAC in the Candlewick newsletter. Consider now how much not only those incorrect numbers but the entire incorporation proposal has changed. It seemed to be a learn as you go situation for the proponents as the numbers began to be corrected or dropped from presentations along with the changes to what were the requirements of incorporation. What do you think would happen if our new city is to be "learn as you go" and based upon incorrect information? It would get ugly!

Some even began using phrases like "the gated community we all love" when describing Candlewick after they realized people were not going to just roll over on the gates issue. Our residents want the gates intact but the drive is still on by many remaining in the group to make our gates sound worthless and eventually eliminate them. They must not understand the purpose of the gates even after repeated explanations.

From the beginning we have not only pointed out the incorrect numbers and statements by CPAC and the more government group but we have held fast to our opinions without wavering. Our position is simple. Keep what is working so well and modify what needs modifying to continue the advancement of our association leadership in it's goal to become a constantly better environment in which to reside.

Our homeowners association is on the right track no matter how constantly those determined to slam our community try to deny it. Continual improvement in our lifestyle or destruction of our community. It could become your choice. Time to take a stand, and a majority already has. It is appreciated.
