Lake management meeting

The issues regarding the change in horsepower for boat motors, higher lake speed limit, and moving the no wake morning time to 7 a.m were discussed. The result was every member of the committee voting indicated the board should vote the proposal down in it's entirety when presented next Tuesday.

Walleyes are to be stocked this fall as predator fish, hopefully in the nine inch and up size if available.

Where the dredging discharge tubes are running across the lake will be recommended as no wake zones for safety reasons to avoid someone hooking a tube and having an accident.

Our lake level will be dropping with the dredging and pumping as water will be pumped out with the silt and the lake will be deeper in those areas dredged, also causing a lowering. Be careful if your boat is in a shallow spot tied up. Watch the lake levels. Just a heads up.
