Lake management

Tuesday, July 13, will be the next lake management committee meeting at the rec center starting at 6:30 p.m. A major discussion topic is expected to be the proposed rule changes involving higher horsepower motors, raised lake speed limit, and morning easing of no wake times to 7 a.m. If you have feelings pro or con this is a time to be involved.

The following Tuesday, July 20, will be the regular board meeting also at the rec center. Lake management is expected to make a recommendation to the board of directors regarding the rule changes mentioned above. These are major changes to our rules so speak now or forever hold your peace as they say. The open discussion period is prior to the meeting at 6:30 p.m. with the formal meeting starting at 7. This will be a hot topic so it will be an interesting meeting to attend if possible.

We will report board results for you here as well as any other pertinent developments.
