We are now less than 10 days out from Christmas and there are many people, some residents of our own community, who are still in need of food, clothes, shelter and/or gifts for their children. If circumstances allow please consider donating food, new or gently used clothing, new toys and/or money at your church, to the Belvidere/Boone County Food Pantry, Salvation Army or the charity of your choice. Many groups that are organizing holiday drives can be found in the local newspapers. Your generosity will be greatly appreciated both by the charity and the recipients.
