In the wee hours of Tuesday morning (December 21st), 1:41 a.m. to be exact, an once-in-a-lifetime event will occur in the southwestern skies - a full lunar eclipse coinciding with the longest night of the year. Beginning at 12:32 a.m. and ending at 4:01 a.m., this type of eclipse will not happen again until December 21, 2094. So set your alarm clocks and hope for clear skies to witness this rare occurrence.
