The "Neighbors Helping Neighbors" Holiday Dinner and Gifts Program has moved into Phase II which is a food drive for non-perishable items, especially those which cannot be purchased through the WIC Program or food stamps. These items would include anything non-edible including toiletries and cleaning products.
CWL residents have signed up to assist 14 families in need who reside within CWL by providing the makings of a holiday dinner along with gifts for children. For those who could not part participate in this portion of the program, but would still like to help you may donate an item or two which will added to the dinner boxes. Containers will be in place at the Administration Office, Savannah Oaks and the Recreation Center through December 16th.
Any items not included in a Candlewick dinner will be taken to the Belvidere/Boone County Food Pantry for distribution.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR GENEROSITY!
