I trashed one of my posts

I had an entire post written titled the “politics of negativism” but reconsidered before posting it. I was going on another tirade about those who constantly complain about our association and attempt to make it as difficult as possible to operate efficiently. I was on an errand behind the wheel when it suddenly dawned on me how few there are making constant demands and complaints. There is nothing wrong with pointing out areas of weakness in our operations. As a matter of fact, constructive criticism if anything makes us stronger. Those who are not being constructive could probably now be counted on one hand. Things really are improving and it shows even in our much calmer meetings. Instead of a post assailing those negative thinking folks it is better to thank those who do contribute, many in a big way with both their volunteerism and ideas. We have a lot of good people living here and they are proving it daily.

A small aside note….the fireworks this year were great and what a finale. The crowds were big, the band good, and another large parade. What a 4th (well, actually a 2nd.)
