With the changing of the seasons you would think the weed population is about finished at this point and nature will take over handling the algae and weeds this extremely hot summer has brought. It has been a rough one for our lake.

Lake monitoring update
The biologist was originally scheduled to check the lake today (Tuesday) to determine if treatment is necessary. This was cancelled due to weather conditions and rescheduled for Friday. Not to worry, though. If he feels weed treatment is necessary it will not be done until after the Labor Day weekend so all can enjoy our lake as usual enjoying fishing, skiing, tubing, etc. This is the last big holiday for the summer so have fun with all the activities planned here. This is a truly great place to live and raise your children.
