Thursday Nov. 3rd State Senator Christine Johnson, Boone County Treasurer Curt Newport and Chief Boone County Assessment Officer Patricia Elder held a Property Tax clinic at C.W.L. to explain how property taxes are calculated, myths about taxes and assessments, the assessment appeal process, information on various exemptions with a question and answer session following the presentation.Thanks to Barb Appelhans for the pictures and article.
